After dedicating over two decades into her passion for music and natural talent for songwriting, the release of Angela’s second album History showcases her growth as a singer, songwriter and performer.

Recorded with maverick producer Rob Mackay (Luke O’Shea, Kelly Cork, Simply Bushed), History was a physical journey alongside a personal one, with recording taking place in both the idyllic surrounds of Queensland’s Hervey Bay and global country music capital Nashville.

“Coming off the success of my debut album Wanted, I wasn’t sure which direction to take for the next album. But when I began writing, it was clear to me that I was writing about the person I have become and the journey my life has taken me on so far. So this album is a true reflection of myself”.

History revels in being the culmination to date of a life well lived – as a young hard-working mother of two, Angela’s ideals and tireless work ethic informed her decisions and paid off in every way from early on.

The first track from the album Call The Police was cowritten with Golden Guitar winner Kevin Bennett. This power alt country tune was written on a songwriting retreat and the lyrics show how this young songwriter has grown immensely.

Then there’s the title track History –  a self penned lyric reflecting on marriage and the importance of not giving up. This album showcases some of Angela’s best lyrics and music yet.

Angela also cowrite with Golden Guitar and CMC Award Winner, Troy Kemp on three songs. One of the song title evolved when Angela was touring nationally with her family and through long hours of driving the country side with no one in sight, she was in No Man’s Land.

History is sure to make waves in the Australian country music scene as this dynamic artist makes her mark with this brilliant new album.
